Q. Are your tours suitable for disabled visitors?
Some of our tours include steps but please let us know if any of your group have accessibility problems and we'll adapt your required tour accordingly.
Q. How much do your tours cost?
This very much depends on your precise requirements. Upon receipt of your enquiry, we'll give you a quotation for your specific needs. As a rough guide, our tours are approximately £6 per person for adults and £4 for children.
Q. When do you operate your tours?
A. Our private group tours operate throughout the year and we can arrange a time to suit your group and travel arrangements.
Q. Where do your tours finish?
A. All our tours return to the start point at the York Roman Column so you won't get lost!
Q. How long do your tours take?
A. This entirely depends on your requirements. Typically tours last around 90 minutes, but we can do a quick tour in 30 minutes or extend up to 2-3 hours.
Q. Will the group have to walk long distances?
A. York is a very compact city with many of the historic landmarks within a very short walking distance within the city walls. Most tours do not involve walking more than a couple of miles.
